Peninsula Committee Monthly Meeting

Social/eating time starts at 6:00. General Meeting begins promptly at 7:00PM and will end at 8:30. Non-SVBC Members are welcome to attend and participate.

Meeting Agenda

  1. Introductions if new members/attendees are present. Provide time to new attendees to introduce themselves and present their issues, reasons for attending and discuss involvement.
  2. Review/approve minutes from May meeting
  3. Member and Attendee Reports of items not on the agenda.
  4. Discussion and planning for July 4 parade. Need to outline assignments, set time table to complete entry, how to notify participants and other items.
  5. North South Route:
    • Updates on current status
    • Signage proposal, status with the County Dept of Parks
    • Collection of city endorsements
    • Discussion on the next steps and how members can get involved.
  6. Caltrain Discussion. Update of progress of the SFBC Bikes OnBoard project. What should our involvement be?
  7. City Updates
    • San Mateo: Monte Diablo Bike/Ped Bridge
    • Redwood City” McGarvery Street Traffic Calming devices
  8. SVBC Items:
    • SVBC Board Report
    • Website status update
  9. Bike Racks: Discussion on various types and opinions
